I am a 5th grade math teacher and I really like this assessment. This resource fully aligns to NC.5.NF.1 and has clear learning objectives. The assessment strategies are clear and definitely will help measure student progress and mastery. Strengths: I like the variety of problems so students have to apply their knowledge in more than one way. For example, there are problems with number lines as well as models which students can use or have to interpret in order to answer the questions. I also like the format which helps students prepare for the EOG.*Opportunities: Adding a couple of gridded response questions would be great practice for students.

I am a 5th grade math only teacher at a title 1 school. This resource has clear learning objective that are achievable. There is full alignment to depth and breadth of standards. The assessment strategies are specific and sufficient ad will give the teacher enough data to determine if students have mastered the concept or will need remediation. There are a variety of problems such as multiple choice ,open ended and multistep. This assessment will give students the opportunity to become familiar with the EOG question type or format. Opportunities: students could be given the opportunity to record their answers using different format such as gridded responses.

I am a 5th grade teacher teaching all content areas for a combination EC and reg ed class. Has clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this resource. Full alignment to depth and breadth of standard tagged. Has clear and sufficient assessment strategies that will accurately measure student progress and mastery of the specified standard.
2 strengths: 1) Includes problems that are comparative to the gridded response questions on the EOG. 2) The problems include multi-step problems that are comparative to those on other state assessments.
Opportunities for growth: By utilizing the rubric included, students can be assessed to determine where they need to be remediated giving them partial credit and a sense of accomplishment in some areas thus making advancement to full comprehension easier to attain.

I am an Accelerated Teacher (interventionist & content coach) for 4th and 5th grade. I think this assessments will allow teachers to determine if their students have mastered adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers with unlike denominators. It may be a loading error on my end but the chart for number 7 was under question 6. This assessments has:
-Full alignment to depth and breadth of standards tagged.
-Has clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this resource.
-Has clear and sufficient assessment strategies that will accurately measure student progress and mastery of the specified standard.
2 strengths: 1) It has multi-step questions. 2.) It includes open-ended questions which 5th grade students need to help prepare for the 5th grade EOG, especially with this being the first year that the EOG will not be all multiple choice.
Opportunities for growth: I think students shouldn't be given the option to write the mixed number on question 10 only because the can't enter mixed numbers on the EOG.
