Does Torb's Hammer do more damage? ›

The hammer is buffed. Every other character's melee is like 30 damage, and the hammer's 55. Torb needs no buffs.

The Forge Hammer is Torbjörn's alternate weapon. It has the ability to deal damage to enemy players, but its primary purpose is for repairing his turret. Each swing will deal 55 damage to enemy players, and heal the turret for 50 HP.

1 Diablos Shatterer 3

For sheer raw damage, the Diablos Shatterer 3 is the way to go. It's built using parts from the Diablos dragon and has the singular purpose of bringing down opposing monsters as quickly as possible. Its base attack power is 1,196 with bonus ice damage on top.

The turret's own damage can be amplified with Amplification Matrix but amplifying Torbjörn's damage does not affect the turret. The impact damage from Molten Core can be amplified, but the damage over time cannot. The impact damage from Graviton Surge can be amplified, but the damage over time cannot.

Deploy Turret: Torbjörn builds a turret that automatically locks on to enemies. The turret takes some time to fully deploy; it can be destroyed while deploying. The turret can only be healed via the Forge Hammer.
